Whirlwind!

Spokane, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Anaheim, San Diego, San Jose, Denver, Bakersfield, Phoenix, Dallas, St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Milwaukee... whew! Try saying that without taking a breath. It hardly seems like yesterday that the lights came up on the first show, and here we are heading for Minnesota already.

I told you things could get hectic on the road.

There's no better way to see this country, for my money, than from the back of a tour bus. The wide open road, the big American skies. Wow. The band is really cooking now that they have a few shows under their belts, and the fans have been beyond great. It's like Axel and the gang never left the road at all.

We'll be rolling into St. Paul tonight for tomorrow's show, and hoping to miss the worst of the snow. It's a bit foggy now (so much for big skies!) but it's warm on the bus, and the Stars on Ice skaters are always good company.

Less than a week to go!

The tour kicks of Thursday January 31 in Spokane (one of my favorite towns BTW) so things are going to be pretty crazy around here with rehearsals, last minute jams and then the start of the tour. If I don't post for a few days, you'll have to forgive me. Rock and roll is hard work!

Meanwhile, be sure to share your photos on the Flickr group. The fans make the show, and we'd love to share your experience of it! And if you haven't been to the show yet, check out starsonice.com for tour dates!

We're big in Japan

Hey there Steele Heads!

Just got back from the Japanese tour with the band. WOW! What an experience. We've really got things tightened up for the Smucker's Stars on Ice tour, so if you're coming to the show you're in for a treat! If you don't have tickets yet, check for tour dates near you here.

We had some surprise guests come out to the show, too! Check it out:

Getting ready to rock with Axel Edge and Hard Steele

Man, I can't believe I actually got this gig. I grew up with Hard Steele - Axel Edge was my hero. And now, to have a chance to blog their comeback tour? Insane. Pics from rehearsal and the secret Lake Placid show coming soon. I CANT BELIEVE I'M HERE WITH HARD STEELE!
Back to you when we're off the bus again, Steele Heads. Rock Steele Hard!

UPDATE: Some pics here from the Lake Placid show. Check out the Flickr group, too, and add your own shots!
